Yikes!?!?!?!?

I have totally been a terrible blogger. About mid April I hit my second job. So I was working two jobs and BJ was umpiring high school baseball and Austin started playing baseball. Also, don't forget that we are still in scouts. I then realized that my teaching license was up in August and I had to file for renewal....then my last evaluation had not been completed....AND I had completely blanked and had to get my stuff together for grad school including take the GRE. So, I signed up for the GRE and took it a week later....ouch. I think I made what I needed for grad school, but won't know for sure until they review my application which they still won't do because they have not received my transcript from Cumberland University. Of course, Cumberland sent it, but UT did not receive it so I have been dealing with that this week and finally got Cumberland to send out a new one today. On top of all of this Austin had tons of end of the year activities. So between two jobs, studying, getting Austin where he needed to go, school activities (mine and his), and just the crazy busy April/May junk I feel like I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Then my super husband had booked us a vacation to Cancun, Mexico for the day after we got out of school and let me tell you, just when I thought I could slow down I had to run and get everything ready for vacation. Blech! We did make it to Mexico and had an interesting vacation...of course I will post pics and details next week. We flew in from Mexico at 12:30pm (into Nashville) and then my dad picked us up and took us back to their house to stay the night. The next morning we got home and rushed to the ball field for Austin's end of season ball tournament. We stayed at the ball field for 5 hours on Saturday and Austin won both of his ball games. Oh and I forgot to mention that Saturday was BJ's birthday and he decided that for his birthday he wanted to go to eat at Wasabi and go see Indiana Jones. So we headed to Wasabi and had a wonderful dinner. When we got in the car we decided we were too pooped to go to the movie so we went home and crashed. Sunday we got up and pulled the clothes out of the suitcases only to wash them and put them back in there (Austin and I were going to stay with my parents for a week). We then headed to the ballfield for our 3 games for the day. We ended up winning them ALL and the tournament as well. Austin was so happy...they even got a trophy! BJ then took the boys out for pizza. *Oh I guess I should insert here that Austin hurt his foot about a week before we went on vacation. We took him to the dr. and they told us that he had strained his achilles tendon and just to put ice on it and give him tylenol for pain. So he has hobbled around for the past two weeks...including in Mexico and at all the ball games. So his foot is still bothering him and I decided that I HAD to take him back to the dr. he started getting a bruise around his foot and I wanted to make sure it wasn't fractured or anything. So I knew we would not be leaving for my parents until at least Monday afternoon.* So Austin decided to have his friend Tyler stay the night and we took them to see Indiana Jones. The next morning BJ tries to get us an appointment with the dr. to see if we need to do an MRI, but they can't see us until Tuesday morning. So, I load the boys up and take them to breakfast because....we have NO food in the house. On the way there I try to hook up my iPod and I got the sad mac symbol. WHAT?!?!?!?!? I have only had it for a little over a year...so after breakfast I take the boys with me to the mall and trek into the apple store. The girl tells me that it sounds like my hard drive was dead (duh...I knew that) she told me that they would offer me 10% off a new iPod, but that I had to sign up for an appointment at the genius bar. Well, the next available appointment was not until 5:40pm so I called BJ and let him know...then went back to the house to get my music back in order and rerip my cd's to the computer (I deleted them to save space). So that took all afternoon. It was then time to leave for the mall and I got in the car and started to back out of the driveway and ran into my trailblazer. Yep...no joke...ran into my own car in the driveway! Could this day get any worse? So I call BJ balling and he tells me to come to the mall and we will take care of the car later. I get to the mall the guy hooks up my iPod and tells me the hard drive is dead (okay...I KNEW that) he then tells me that I can get 10% off a new iPod or purchase the same iPod I had for $130. BJ was so mad....i think it was because of the wreck...and wants to talk to a manager about having to make an appointment when we KNEW what was wrong with the iPod and that they should have taken care of it that morning. So with his grumping we ended up getting the new one (same thing) for free. Woo Hoo! One shiny spot. We then head home and contact the insurance about the claim to fix both cars. And I download all my music back onto my new iPod. The next morning I get up, go get Austin's old xrays, and head to the doctor. We found out he has Sever's disease...which really isn't a disease it is basically a sports injury that happens to children Austin's age because of their growth. Basically it is that the achilles tendon is inflamed where it meets the heel bone. He said to make Austin rest and try and stay off it, and check back in two weeks. If it is not better then he will have to put him in a cast. Great can you imagine getting an active 8yr old to stay off his foot during the summer. Blech! Even better can you imagine if they have to put a cast on him? Anywho, after that we left for my parents. We have been here the whole week and I have had a GREAT time hanging out with my friends (I miss them SOOOOOO much). I will be heading back to Knoxville on Monday to start the first of my two Art classes that I am taking at UT this summer. Fun Fun! And I am trying to work on getting into grad school for the fall. Oh, and above all this we have wireless internet in our house and the computer has not been connecting to the internet or when it does it is very sporadic and you can be on it one second and disconnected the second. So I haven't been able to be online much at all and I am starting to go through withdrawl...hehe! But at least I am hoping to get that fixed as soon as I get back to Knoxville because I just didn't have the time before. So I should be regular from here on out. Those of you that made it this far into the post...wow...and thanks! I am living the crazy life and this is just part of it. Check back soon for Mexico details and pics!
