So tonight was my 3rd art class and we continued to work on our paintings. I really like this teacher. She doesn't stand up in front of you and tell you what to do. You work and she comes around and talks to each student individually. She also does a cool critique thing that is fun and informative. So tonight we started with critique and I realized I am probably the worst one in the class....seriously! I thought I was okay...not the best, but certainly not the worst...nope I was wrong. Everyone has such great...blended paintings...and I am sticking with very geometric shapes...not because that is what I want to do, but because that is just what is happening when I paint....I do notice that my colors are VERY vibrant and shinier than some, so I guess I can be proud of that. I will show you a picture of the picture I am painting...then last weeks progress...and then this weeks...so you can see the progression. Promise not to laugh...it is not finished yet!

I have also been scrapping...I haven't had any time to upload so I decided I would post them here and then pick and choose what to upload to galleries.... Just a note that these are really dark. With the flash on I got glare, with flash off it was dark, with natural light I got glare or shadow....I just could not get it right today...so I was over it and just used the dark ones. Hope you enjoy!

I also made a couple of cards this weekend, but I was able to scan them so they look better....

Again, sorry about the dark layouts. Well, at least you can see I have not been a slacker...I have actually scrapped some...lol!

wow love your new pages! And looove your painting, it's looking so good, wow!
I love the geometric feel of your painting. In my opinion,it's so more important to have your unique style than being the best. Do you think Picasso would have been the best in his class? No simply because he had a very different style. You never know, you might be the next Picasso! ;)
