The Cake Woes!

I decided to make a couple of cakes this evening so I can take them to work with me tomorrow (that way we won't eat them all!), and I went to make icing and decided to use my super nice, *new*, fancy, all the bells and whistles cake mixer that my husband bought me (he has noticed that I have only used it 1 time). Anyway, the first time I used it my icing came out so runny that it ruined my cake...so this time I double checked it and made sure I did it *exactly* the way it should be done...and guess what it did it again! I can't mix regular old icing with my fancy mixer! And to top it all off I was completely out of clear vanilla and almond extract! So hubby felt sorry for me (I think it was because he bought the mixer) and totally went to the store to buy me some more flavoring! How sweet! So will post pics of my creations tomorrow. Oh and tomorrow is Thursday (which is like Friday to me since I don't work on real Fridays)...so I have time to scrap! Plus Austin has another game tomorrow and I can't wait to get a pic of him in his catching duds!
