So glad this week is over!!!!

This has to be, hands down, the longest week ever! Sunday was spent finding stuff for and making 130 goodie bags for my Accelerated Kickoff this week. Monday was work and then we had golf that evening. I didn't get home until after 9pm and was so tired. I then had to make a poster for the next day - and that I didn't finish until after midnight. Tuesday was the AR Kickoff. I then stayed late at work to finish up stuff from the last two days. We then went to the TN Valley Fair. It was a lot of fun, but another late night. We didn't get home until after 10pm! Wednesday was a pretty normal day. Thursday, I stayed at work until 6:30pm trying to get ready for Grandparents day the next day (which I was in charge of). Then Friday was actually Grandparents Day and while it went well, it was still exhausting. The teachers and I went out to lunch...it was fun to hang out with everyone and relax. Saturday was my home day....ahhh....I scrapped, cleaned, and took an extra long nap :) Then today, we went to church and then came home and relaxed. I got some reading done for school and helped Austin get some school stuff done. So all in all a busy but productive week.... Here are the layouts I got finished with yesterday. For the design team at Scrappin in the City, we were challenged to use the new My Mind's Eye products this month. I chose to work with the "The Sweetest Thing: Honey" collection. I just love the pink, grey, black, yellow colors. The first one is of the 6 remaining Shelton brothers and sisters (my grandmother and her brothers and sisters). This is the last photo of them all together. Shortly after, Earlene (the one seated) passed away. So now there are five. While I really enjoyed the subject matter, the layout did not turn out exactly as I had hoped...
After this one did not turn out as well as I would have liked, I decided to take a break...*insert long nap here :)* After I woke up, I then took a second look at the line and came up with this layout...
which is much more like me :) As for this week, I am excited to see how many items I actually sold at the Scrappin in the City yard sale. I am using the profits to buy a new cameo....woo hoo!!!!! I am also ready to take it a little easier. Now I am off to knit some...I am so ready to finish this shawl :) Until next time...
