Need time to relax...

April seems to be so busy. The days are warmer and longer. I don't seem to be relaxing until much later in the evening and then the day is over. I have not spent much time in my craft room or cleaning...or anything else you do inside. I have worked late much of the week, and by Friday, I was ready to crash! So I spent the day watching Doctor Who. What a fantastic day! Today, I had a DAR meeting and lunch with my friend Lesley for some much needed girl time. I then came home and worked on getting stuff done. I am now happily typing away in my scrap room. Hopefully, I can get some scrapping done tonight, but my brain seems to busy to slow down or change gears to the creative side. I think I will pull out some pictures and try a sketch challenge or something.

In other news, we have a Christmas wreath on our door. We took all of our decorations down at the beginning of January, but didn't have a wreath for the door and it doesn't look really Christmasy so we kept it up through Valentine's Day....then decided to wait until March when we could hang up our Easter/Spring wreath. So, when we went to take it down, we found that it had a bird nest in it. So, we left it up to see if it was going to be used. A week or so later, we had an egg in there, then two, then three, and finally, four eggs! We have glass on the front door, so we are able to monitor what is going on the in nest without disturbing the nest. Anywho, today we found that one of the eggs had hatched...then a little while later the second egg hatched. It is so amazing. BJ, Austin, and I have been mesmerized by the little birds. Here are a couple of pictures (sorry for the bad quality, but the glass is decorative so it is hard to take a picture - and for obvious reasons we don't want to take them from the other side)
