Winner, winner, chicken dinner

So...last night we attended Austin's school science fair. We were so excited because after viewing all of the projects, the awards were presented and Austin came in 2nd place!

He looks so excited doesn't he :) And of course, where does Austin want to go afterwards KFC (usually it is Bojangles, but tonight it was KFC). However, I wanted a salad, so we compromised on Ruby Tuesday because he could get seafood. After dinner, we came home and relaxed because school was already cancelled for today because of the impending winter storm PAX. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but after the late dismissal of school after winter storm Leon and all the problems it caused I think the school system was being cautious - and I am always open to sleeping in. I did manage to finish up a layout. It is a fun layout using Jillibean Soup's Irish Farm House Stew.

It is a fun layout about us being extras in a movie while we were in the Dominican Republic. So fun!
