First off...I went to my first ever Harry Potter Midnight Party. I had never been to one and figured I REALLY needed to go to this one since it's the last book. Here are some pics from the party!
This is me and my best friend posing with Harry Potter...okay I know he isn't the REAL Harry, but he was alot of fun and very nice!
We got "Snitches" painted on our faces!
Had our pics made with Lord Voldemort (he looked better IRL...my flash made his makeup look funny).
And after standing in line FOREVER...there were over 900 people their to get books...and lets just say we signed up late....we got our BOOKS!!!!!
We also made an addition to our family while visiting. Now this is confusing...my friend just moved back home to Smyrna (right outside Nashville) and was looking for a dog...while I was there I told her I would help. Her dad said that his boss's sister was trying to give away a weimaraner (same breed as our last dog). She told him that she couldn't have it because it was going to get TOO big, but she thought I might be interested. Well, we were not exactly ready for a new dog, but this one needed some TLC. The owner's husband died 6 months ago and he has been out in a pen since then...he is a little skinny, untrained, and hyper, but we decided to take him in. So without further ado...here is Solomon.
